Endpoint Standard Cloud Analysis Service Maintenance – EU, JAPAN, SYD regions
On March 13, 2023 at 2:00 pm EDT, Carbon Black will be performing maintenance on the Cloud Analysis Service in EU, JAPAN, and SYD. This service may be unavailable during this time.
If "Submit Unknown Binaries for Analysis by Avira" policy setting is enabled, Endpoint Standard / Prevention will be unable to determine the reputation of unknown binaries uploaded for Cloud Analysis.
Security Impact: Depending on policy settings, the detection and prevention capabilities may be slightly weakened until normal operation of Cloud Analysis Service is restored. Increase in blocking / termination actions may be observed for policies that utilize Blocking and Isolation rules based on Not Listed reputation.
We anticipate the maintenance work to be completed within 3 hours and the service to resume by 5:00 pm EDT.
