This incident has been resolved.
Between 18:20 and 18:40 UTC, the Analyst API in the hosted US data center was experiencing issues accepting new submissions for analysis due to hardware issues in the database storage layer. After resolving the issue, the analysis had was serving analysis result with higher-than-average delays until the service had been scaled up to deal with the increased load. Since 19:15 UTC, the service has been operating normally and we continue monitoring the situation.
A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the results.
