This incident has been resolved.
A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the results.
We have been alerted about a significant increase in temperature on the super-capacitor for one of our backend databases, to prevent any further damage to the hardware we have shutdown the affected database and started the process of failing over the database to one of our backups. A small subset of our customers will experience issues writing/retrieving information through the User portal expected to last the duration of the failover process.
